About
Crystal Cruises
Traditional ocean cruising with space and service
Crystal operates two extensively refurbished ocean ships, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, retaining the generous public rooms and broad facilities of traditional cruise vessels while sailing with fewer guests than their original designs accommodated. Every guestroom and suite has butler service, and the onboard identity rests heavily on dining, polished hospitality and a substantial programme of music, theatre, lectures and enrichment. This is not yacht travel or expedition cruising: Crystal is best understood as a spacious ocean line for travellers who value continuity of service and a full shipboard life between ports.

the experience
Dining and personal service define life aboard
Dining and personal service structure the day on board. Butler service applies across all accommodation categories, while restaurants include the Italian Osteria d’Ovidio, Umi Uma by Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, Beefbar and the main dining room, alongside more casual venues and 24-hour in-suite dining. Drinks, Wi-Fi and gratuities are included in the fare. Large lounges, a theatre, spa and enrichment spaces make sea days feel purposeful, and the atmosphere is elegant without requiring constant formality.
THE Destinations
Established ports linked by longer ocean journeys
Crystal’s ships move between seasonal regions rather than remaining tied to one geography. Mediterranean and Northern European summers lead into Caribbean, South American, Asian and Pacific programmes, with repositioning voyages and longer combinations connecting them. The ships call at major cities as well as smaller ports where size permits, but the product is not built around remote landings. Its best journeys use a measured sequence of port days and sea days, allowing the onboard programme to remain as important as the destination schedule.
