Alexander Hotel rises within Torre Virreyes beside Bosque de Chapultepec, occupying one of architect Teodoro González de León’s most distinctive late works above the western edge of Mexico City. Its 26 suites are unusually generous, with floor-to-ceiling glazing, separate living and dining areas in larger categories, and views across the park or skyline. Contemporary works curated by Nicole Badin sit alongside Italian-made furnishings and a restrained palette of stone, wood and metal. A compact spa, Technogym-equipped fitness floor and the intimate Alexander Bar complete the shared spaces, while the tower’s dramatic trapezoidal structure remains the defining architectural presence.
