On a private reserve northeast of Torres del Paine, Awasi Patagonia sits among lenga and ñirre woodland above Lake Sarmiento, with the massif visible across the open steppe. Fourteen stand-alone villas use dark timber, deep-set windows and wood-burning fireplaces to create sheltered interiors against the wind; the newer oval Cenit villas frame the mountains through curved walls of glass. The main lodge gathers guests around a warm, timber-lined restaurant and lounge, where menus centre on Patagonian lamb, king crab, Pacific fish and native berries. Outdoor hot tubs look straight over the forest and the park’s granite peaks.
