Bank Hotel stands on Stockholm’s waterfront in a former early-20th-century bank building near Nybroviken and the city’s cultural institutions. Original proportions and dark timber are balanced by contemporary art, tactile fabrics and softly coloured rooms designed with a residential calm. The former banking hall now houses Bonnie’s beneath a high glass ceiling, while Papillon retains the intimacy of a wood-panelled cocktail bar. A rooftop terrace adds a more open perspective across the surrounding roofs and harbour. Stone columns, arched windows and the monumental entrance preserve the building’s civic character at street level.
