Behind a restrained stone façade in Palma's old quarter, Convent de la Missió occupies a seventeenth-century former missionary convent. Its 27 rooms and suites preserve vaulted ceilings, thick walls and irregular historic proportions, offset by pale contemporary furniture and selected works of art. Marc Fosh's restaurant sits beneath high arches, joined by ArtBar and a rooftop terrace with a narrow pool above the surrounding lanes. Below ground, the spa uses former monastic spaces for an indoor pool, sauna and treatment rooms, extending the building's sequence of stone chambers.
