In the historic centre of San José del Cabo, Drift occupies a low concrete building organised around a palm-filled courtyard and open-air pool. Rooms are deliberately spare, using poured concrete, local timber, woven textiles and handcrafted details that suit the dry Baja climate. The kitchen and mezcal bar open directly into the courtyard, where communal tables, music and evening events give the hotel a sociable rhythm. Rooftop terraces and shaded passages extend the public spaces vertically. The mission church, galleries and old streets remain immediately outside.
