Explora Atacama occupies a 17-hectare estate in the Ayllu de Larache, a short distance from the centre of San Pedro de Atacama. Its 50 rooms and suites use local materials, adobe tones and views of the gardens or desert, with interiors kept deliberately quiet after high-altitude outings. The all-inclusive programme covers meals, drinks and daily guided explorations to salt flats, geysers, canyons and Andean lagoons. Regional ingredients shape the menus, and the on-site observatory hosts evening stargazing. Four outdoor pools, a sauna, steam rooms and hot tubs are available between excursions.
