Ksar Char-Bagh reinterprets the structure of a traditional palace within the Palmeraie outside Marrakech, arranging rooms and suites around water channels, courtyards and formal gardens. Hand-cut tilework, carved plaster and deep-toned fabrics create richly detailed interiors, while private gardens and pools give several suites a more secluded character. Vegetables, herbs and fruit from the kitchen garden appear in meals served beneath lanterns or on shaded terraces. The long central pool draws the eye through the grounds towards the main house. Marrakech’s Medina remains accessible, but the immediate setting is defined by palms, fountains and the measured geometry of the gardens.
