Just outside Marrakech’s medina, La Mamounia occupies a 1923 palace set within eight hectares of mature gardens, citrus trees and olive groves. Jacques Garcia’s interiors layer carved cedar, zellige, painted plaster, patterned carpets and Art Deco references across rooms, suites and private riads. Four restaurants, several bars and tea rooms spread through the palace and gardens, while indoor and outdoor pools anchor the extensive spa and leisure spaces. Long arcades, tiled courtyards and lantern-lit salons lead towards lawns that have formed part of the estate for centuries.
