In Lower Manhattan’s Financial District, The Wall Street Hotel occupies a Beaux-Arts building at the corner of Wall and Pearl Streets. Its 180 rooms and suites balance pale woods, soft blue textiles and marble with subtle references to the Australian pearling heritage of the owning Paspaley family. La Marchande, Lounge on Pearl and the lobby’s intimate seating areas bring a more residential rhythm to the ground floor. Commissioned Aboriginal art, mother-of-pearl details and restored architectural elements continue through the reception rooms beneath the tall façades of the surrounding financial district.
