Behind an ochre façade in Saint-Tropez’s old streets, Pan Deï Palais preserves the atmosphere of the private house built in 1835 for General Jean-François Allard and Princess Bannu Pan Deï. Twelve individually styled rooms and suites draw on that Franco-Indian story through four-poster beds, dark timber, patterned rugs, warm earth tones and collected artworks. The garden is the social centre: a turquoise mosaic pool, shaded Balinese beds and a candlelit terrace for South Asian-influenced dishes made with Provençal produce. Beyond the discreet entrance, the port and Place des Lices remain only a short walk away.
