Crosby Street Hotel is unusual in SoHo because it occupies a purpose-built contemporary building rather than a converted industrial structure. A private sculpture garden sits behind the hotel. Across 86 individually designed rooms and suites, Kit Kemp combines colour, textiles and artwork with generous proportions and high windows. The Crosby Bar serves throughout the day and opens towards the garden, complemented by a drawing room, orangery and private screening room. Broadway, Prince Street and the surrounding galleries begin immediately outside. The building’s contemporary frame gives the interiors more space to breathe than many nearby hotels, without losing the intimate scale of the cobbled street around it.
