In Polanco, Habita is wrapped in the frosted-glass skin that made the property a defining early project for Grupo Habita. TEN Arquitectos’ intervention turns the former building into a light-filled contemporary hotel of 36 rooms and suites, with pared-back interiors, Eames seating and integrated glass surfaces. Works by Jan Hendrix and Silvia Gruner add another layer to the design. Above the street, the terrace holds a heated pool, whirlpool baths, bar, fireplace and lounge seating, creating the hotel’s most recognisable public space against the changing translucence of the glass façade.
