Near Ibirapuera Park in Sao Paulo’s Jardins district, Hotel Unique is defined by Ruy Ohtake’s copper-clad inverted arch, punctuated by circular windows and raised above a stone garden. João Armentano’s interiors continue the building’s bold geometry through dark corridors, curved forms and technologically detailed rooms framing the city. On the roof, Skye Restaurant & Bar surrounds the vivid red pool and a broad panorama of the skyline. Indoor yellow and green pools add another playful architectural gesture, while the lobby’s dramatic scale, sculptural furnishings and carbon-fibre entrance establish the hotel’s singular visual language from arrival.
