Hotel Zoo Berlin occupies a restored historic building on Kurfürstendamm, placing its theatrical interiors directly on City West’s best-known boulevard. Designers Dayna Lee and Ted Berner retained the building’s structure while introducing dark timber, exposed brick, oversized lighting and references to pre-war glamour across the rooms and public spaces. GRACE Restaurant, its bar and the winter garden create a lively sequence of social rooms around the central lobby. Bedrooms shift the mood towards a more contained palette while retaining strong pattern and texture. The green-carpeted entrance hall and brick-lined reception spaces give the hotel an unmistakable arrival from Ku’damm.
